JoAnne Burch, RA, LEED® AP BD+C, CDT

JoAnne is an Architectural Designer with a track record of managing multiple design projects successfully with a high degree of productivity and a natural ability to motivate those around her. Her love of architecture and design is focused around creating products and environments that enhance the well-being of those who encounter them.

JoAnne is a graduate from the School of Building Arts at the Savannah College of Art and Design, where she obtained a Master of Architecture degree and a BFA in Architecture and a minor in Urban Design and Development in 2008.

Upon completing her formal education she moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, where she spent the first 14 years of her professional career working for three prestigious design firms: Little, Neighboring Concepts, and Shook Kelley.

It was during this period that she gained diversified experience working on a variety of building projects including retail, civic, government, academic, corporate interiors, multifamily residential, mixed-use development, parks and recreation, transit, master planning, and her favorite, hospitality design. However, it is her acute understanding of BIM technologies and digital graphics, both invaluable tools in communicating design concepts to others, that has kept her at the forefront of the design field.

In 2020, JoAnne decided to branch out on her own to establish the DEEDs Design Studio, where she offers independent design consulting to help her clients develop effective environmental design solutions for all things design.

It is her honor to partner and collaborate with Susan Satori on Light Code projects, as she'll be joining the team as its Sacred Systems Specialist and Architectural/Digital Designer and Liaison
